"Being a Renal Research Nurse for over twelve years, I would recommend more and more nurses interested in this field to join ANN-UK as it offers lots of opportunities for career development in Renal Nursing and also develop interests in renal research"

"I am privileged to be one of the mentees in the ANN UK mentorship programme. This is a great opportunity to utilise the support of the mentor whilst pursuing your professional goals. A good opportunity came to me during my time as on the programme, and I got a new job role which was my goal when I applied for the programme. I have now joined the Renal anaemia team and made a step towards a specialist role. I look forward to doing the non-medical prescribing course hopefully next year which will continue my development. With this I will be needing a lot of support from my brilliant mentor! For those of you who have career aspirations and are wanting to move forward, this is the best opportunity to go for. You will be supported and guided all the way through. So, thanks to ANN UK and the ANN UK mentors."

"ANN UK was formed in June 2018. Since its formation I have been able to attend a number of online conferences that have been co-ordinated by renal nurses for renal nurses. ANN UK keeps me up to date as an educator, giving me access to eLearning, the Journal of Kidney Care and conferences for nurses."

Being involved in the special interest group (SIG) has given me that chance to have an input on projects like workforce planning surveys etc. The aim is to adapt a unified approach to home dialysis whilst still offering individualised holistic care to our patient and carer group.
We can always learn something new by sharing. It encourages us to explore and thrive on new challenges
