Home Haemodialysis Manager for Epsom and St Hellier NHS Trust.

I would love to introduce myself as the new co-lead for the Home Therapies CoP.

I have been a renal nurse since qualifying in 2007, with most of my career spent in HHD. I have also worked in supportive care and as a dialysis unit manager, giving me a broad understanding of the renal patient journey—something I am deeply passionate about, having supported a parent through haemodialysis.

In my new co-lead role, I hope to support the continued growth of home therapies, strengthen collaboration across teams, and share best practices that enhance patient experience and independence. I have a particular interest in patient education and service development, and I’m excited to bring that enthusiasm to the CoP.

I look forward to working closely with many of you and learning from the amazing work already happening across the network

I am an advanced renal practitioner with over 20 years’ experience across haemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, general nephrology and advanced kidney care. As an autonomous practitioner and prescriber, I deliver high-quality clinical care while working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. I am committed to fostering a calm, positive environment and supporting colleagues to develop their skills.

In my current role (2020–present), I manage clinics for general nephrology, advanced kidney care, peritoneal dialysis and anaemia management. I contribute actively to MDT services, support the acute PD project, and have helped develop a tailored service for frail patients within our renal population.
